Time travel to the past or future

 I had never thought about traveling to a time in the past or future since I am very comfortable in the historical time that I live in, but if I had to do so, I would choose Babylon. It is a kingdom that was, between 2100 and 538 BC, in ancient Mesopotamia. I would choose this time and geographical location because I always wanted to know what the Hanging Gardens of Babylon looked like, one of the seven ancient wonders of the world, which described in numerous stories with amazement. It also said that Babylon was a significant cultural and religious center. It generated prominent discoveries in mathematics, physics, and astronomy, which made it a great intellectual center. Finally, its architecture, which mentioned in many stories, such as the construction of the tower of Babel, the dazzling paved streets, the enameled brick buildings, the eight monumental gates of the wall, including the impressive Gate of Ishtar with reliefs of lions and dragons; and the abundant water that ran through a complex system of canals, which served as irrigation to support agriculture. Although I would very much like to be able to see all these wonders, I would not stay and live there since being a woman has always been a disadvantage in history due to oppression and the loss of my rights as an individual.
